All of Us Are Dead is the story of a group of high school students trying to survive after a zombie virus infects their school and surrounding areas. Based on Joo Donggeun’s Webtoon digital comic called Now at Our School (same title as series’ original Korean title), the series was created in 2009.
The series may seem to be a typical zombie apocalypse story, with some coming-of-age elements. However, All of Us are Dead is rich in cultural references and timely allegories.

Season 1 of All of Us Are Dead is available to all viewers who have seen it. The series ends with a cliffhanger when the survivors reunite on Namra’s roof. It’s not possible to predict who will return for Season 2, unlike Squid Game. Dead people can also become zombies. Now that Season 2 is approved, we can assume that all survivors (or most) will be returning.
Fans have a major question: Is Cheongsan still alive in All of Us Are Dead? It’s impossible to say for certain. We didn’t see him become a zombie, nor did we see his remains. Although he managed to hide behind Gwinam, we did not see him being blasted by the shockwave from the bomb dropped by the government on school grounds.
